System for Earth & Extra-terrestrial Sample Registration

Funders and Partners

SESAR is part of the IEDA2 Data Facility, which is funded through a Cooperative Agreement with by the U.S. National Science Foundation’s Division of Earth Sciences (GEO/EAR). SESAR receives limited support from other ancillary NSF grants on an ongoing basis.

As the birthplace of the IGSN, SESAR is an active member in the IGSN e.V., which guides development and support of the IGSN in partnership with DataCite. SESAR is a DataCite Registered Service Provider, which gives our organizational users flexible options for interacting with our services.

We are proud to work with numerous large organizational users, below, who contribute financially to support the continued operation of SESAR and make their sample collections discoverable through our sample portal.
